Sisu is a Finnish word meaning strength of will or perseverance. It conveys fortitude amidst life's trials. My desire is to come along side people and help them find their strength of will - Sisu. I have a desire to promote healthy relationships and empowering individuals, couples and families to develop strong emotional connections that are critical to satisfying and empowering relationships and to a life full of love and hope. The therapeutic process will be different for each individual, couple or family. It will be a collaborative effort tailored to best suit specific needs and goals.
I have post graduate training in Collaborative Problem Solving through Think Kids and have worked extensively with parents and children in developing a healthy relationship. My approach is one that respects each family's unique culture and promotes change that values that culture.
