I believe every person can have the life they want with the right supports and tools, despite whatever life might have thrown their way. My practice, whether through therapy or life coaching, is based on helping you find what works best for you. I work with clients and their families to move you towards a happier, more productive life. Some have trauma or past hurts that get in the way. Some just feel like they cannot decide how best to move forward. Whatever the case, we work together to clear out the roadblocks and move you one step at a time in the right direction.
My therapeutic passion is helping others ease the pain from anxiety, depression, relationship stressors, and a history of trauma. While I love the healing process, I also am passionate about helping people meet their full potential with life coaching. Balance is the key--for my practice, for healing, for life.
Since 2005, I have specialized in the treatment of trauma. I am trained in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Both are short-term, research-based treatments for post-traumatic stress symptoms. Coaching people from victim to survivor is my life work.
