Tracy D Morgan, Psya, LCSW-R, MPhil, CGP, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in New York
In my practice, I specialize in working with people who find it hard to know what they want, are scared to take a shape, or who find it hard to hold their own in the presence of others. I also treat people who struggle to find love, and who may suffer from feelings of worthlessness, emptiness, and panic. Academics, especially new career academics, actors and writers have always made up a significant part of my practice as well. Finally, I work with people who are frightened of conflict and so find themselves agreeing to relationships on terms that feel depleting.
In a therapeutic environment, saying everything that comes to one's mind is of great benefit. I help the people I work with to speak as they have perhaps never spoken before. Toward that end, I listen with a refined and creative ear.
I also employ four brilliant and sensitive clinicians who I closely supervise. They charge a lower fee than I do. Their diverse interests coupled with their broad range of clinical skills expand the scope of the practice overall.
