Tracy L. Davis, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Berkeley
I believe that people intuitively know what they need to grow, change and heal. Often there are internal barriers, old stories, patterns or ways thinking that prevent us being able to make the changes that we want for our lives and our relationships. I use a highly collaborative and nuanced approach to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. Through a mutual process, we will begin to uncover the hope, insights, strengths, and skills needed to address the current challenges or difficulties impacting you, your partnership or family.
I specialize helping people heal from childhood and adult trauma. I guide people to understand how unresolved issues from the past are playing out in their current relationships. I specialize working with the LGBTQI community particularly gender expansive individuals. Also recovery from drugs and alcohol as well as codependency dynamics.
I offer psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, couples and families. I am trained in relational EMDR interventions by Laurel Parnell. I used strengths-based, client-centered, and culturally responsive approach. I use art, somatic and sand tray interventions. My office is located in downtown Berkeley and walking distance from Bart.
