Couples Therapy. Falling in love is easy, staying in love is difficult, hence the 50% divorce rate! My passion is helping couples develop deeply satisfying relationships. I've been married since 1999 and my own relationship has been to the brink of divorce and back so I help couples from both a personal and professional perspective. I know what it feels like to be filled with resentment and out of love but I also know what it feels like to heal and fall back in love. I have a Master's and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I'm a Licensed Psychologist, and I've been in private practice since 2004.
Our first session includes me meeting with both partners alone for around 15 minutes to hear their history. Next, the three of us meet together to consolidate the top areas of resentment for both partners and then we'll carefully start working through each one. Addressing resentments first is key because it's hard to love someone you resent.
