Originally a psychoeducational counseling group for persons charged or convicted of alcohol- or drug-related driving offense, content has been expanded and modified to relate to a wider audience (for other drug abuse and not just impaired driving). One factor that all have in common is that abusing alcohol or other drugs has caused a problem - mostly (though not necessarily) of a legal nature. Covers the costs to society and individuals of alcohol/drug abuse and irresponsible driving, consequences of the disease of addiction. Continuous enrollment, 15 weeks, 1:1 pre-screening required, men and women welcome.
For women and men experiencing situational or chronic depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, reacting/adjusting to changes, or to support sobriety and prevent relapse. Peer support, psychoeducation, to help maintain positive influences and outlook and live a healthy lifestyle. Continuous enrollment, 1:1 pre-screening required. Meeting since 11/16/2011. (Note: This paragraph described three different groups.) Women's Group meets Thursdays at 10:45 AM. Mental Health group Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. Relapse Prevention groups, Wednesdays at 8:15 PM and Fridays at 3:30 PM.
Gender-specific group therapy for women, including both those in recovery, with mental health issues, seeking support of other women sharing experiences, strength, and hope. Continuous enrollment, open discussion format, confidential. Women's Group held Thursdays, 10:45 AM. Individual pre-admission screening required (by appointment).
