I offer support to individuals, children, and families who are trying to overcome some challenge in their lives. Whether it be an individual trying to overcome depression or anxiety, or a traumatic event; a parent wanting to find ways to deal with a struggle their child is having; a teen or young adult dealing with the difficulties of life transitions or destructive behaviors; my background, clinical training and experience can provide both support, as well as clinically effective solutions to help you achieve the goals you would like to achieve in therapy.
I work with clients who have experienced some sort of trauma in their lives. I work towards providing a safe environment to explore the ways in which the trauma has affected the client, and finding solutions for healing, to resolve the trauma and move forward in life.
I have special training in working with children. I received training in Play Therapy to work with children experiencing a wide range of issues, including trauma. Play therapy is a great way to provide kids a way of processing feelings without having to do talk therapy, and feel more comfortable.
