Seeking help when you are struggling is difficult but often necessary. With a goal directed approach, I help my clients develop and process measurable goals and coping skills for managing symptoms and life stresses. Though therapy is a process, many of my clients have reported improvement within a short amount of time. Think of therapy as an investment in your self.
When we feel overwhelmed, depressed, stressed or anxious, we tend to think in unbalanced ways. Keeping these thoughts bottled up can take an emotional toll. Learning to openly process and communicate these thoughts openly can shift the way we live our lives and the way we feel.
Success with my clients in large part stems from 18 years of direct care experience in the mental health field and 13 years as a licensed clinician in clinical settings which have included inpatient hospital programs, general hospitals, psychiatric day programs, long term residential substance abuse facilities and within my own private practice.
