Shelley B White, MA, LMHC, Counselor in Edmonds
I specialize in working with teens and their parents. I have over 25 years experience in the mental health field, thirteen of which were as a school counselor. Because I genuinely like and respect teens, they tend to like and respect me. I help my clients build on their strengths, sort through their values, beliefs and options, and help them establish a strong sense of themselves.
I also work with adults specializing in relationship issues, divorce, and people dealing with alcohol/drug addiction of a loved one. I am specifically trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I am a certified mediator and use these skills, in addition to systems theory, to help families resolve conflict.
