Josephine A. Mero MSW, LMSW, MSW, LMSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Cresco
What is paramount to me, in my private practice, is empowerment and advocacy. I strive to provide my clients with a confidential and warm "holding environment" to help them feel safe, comfortable, engaged, and heard. I feel that an eclectic approach, one that is appropriate at the time for each individual client is optimum. In order to make everlasting change happen, and to live your best life to your potential... it begins with insight into oneself. Working with a skilled therapist can help you gain this insight.
Group work gives each client the opportunity to learn in connection to one another, that is unique to the group setting. The group of individuals become cohesive and caring, about and for each other. One really has to have the courage to share themselves with others, and allow others to share themselves with you.
What I feel is most unique about my practice is my office space-- it is not just an office space, you are welcomed into a comfortable, warm, safe "holding environment." My clientele is multicultural, all are welcomed and celebrated. In addition, NEW: Private Divorce Mediation, a collaborative, non-adversarial approach.
