Aaron Krenkel, MD, MD, Psychiatrist in Portland
I offer holistic psychiatric care, with an emphasis on psychotherapy in the contemporary psychodynamic tradition. If you are dealing with some form of anxiety or depression, if you are frustrated with distressing and recurrent life patterns, my practice might be a good fit with you. I've worked with problems with school, work, and relationships, complex emotional problems and conflicts, past traumas and identity issues. I welcome a call if you are looking for help; we can have an in-person discussion and set up a consultation. You may also find out a bit more at my website: aaronkrenkelmd.com
In my work, I emphasize the importance of relationships -- past, present, and even our therapy relationship -- in all forms of inner and outer experience. Through new forms of relating, old forms of suffering can abate, and in some cases, heal.
I have a depth of experience with college students, as I work part-time at Reed College. I have been on faculty at OHSU for several years, teaching courses in psychotherapy and supervising trainees.
