I believe that therapy can bring positive changes in helping you live a healthy, balanced and fulfilling life. My belief is to start where you are comfortable and build a relationship by providing a safe, warm and understanding environment. I take a holistic approach to therapy and my goal is to help you set and achieve goals, identify and learn to tolerate emotions, and gain new perspectives and insight.
My work experience encompasses inpatient and intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment and emergency room trauma/crisis intervention. Through these environments, I have expertise in the following: grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, crisis intervention, difficult transitions, stress, and relationship issues.
In addition to private practice psychotherapy, I currently remain active with mental health continuing education and collaboration with other outpatient and inpatient mental health professionals in order to keep up to date with current treatment modalities and evidence based practices. I will reply to all inquiries within 24 hours. Thank you and take care.
