I am a solution-focused therapist with a collaborative, non-judgemental, and client centered approach to treatment. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their challenges and make progress towards creating healthy and satisfying lives. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other empirically validated treatments such as prolonged exposure (PE) and ERP. I have experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings providing treatment for depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, panic disorder, and social anxiety.
I am also a certified alcohol and drug counselor with experience treating substance use disorders. I specialize in working with those for whom conventional forms of treatment have been ineffective. I approach substance use from a harm reduction perspective, which supports clients rights to choose the nature of their recovery.
I am a Certified Diplomate with the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. I am a member of NASW, ADAA, and ACBS. Additionally, I provide clinical supervision to graduate students and early career clinicians. I am licensed to practice in both the state of Illinois and the state of Colorado.
