I am a psychologist of long standing, with many years experience helping individuals, couples, and families. I consider myself to be an unusually warm and open person, and my style of therapy is highly interactive. It is my sincere belief that a great deal of the progress that is made in psychotherapy is as a result of a very effective therapeutic alliance and bond between the client and myself. This, above all, is at the heart of the supportive relationship which I hope will occur with the client.
I believe it is very misleading to a potential client to put down phrases such as "eclectic", "psychodynamic", or "relationship therapy" when they are similar, and I utilize all of them. The most important thing to say is that I listen and tailor my work to what the client needs.
My own professional background has been very diverse. Prior to becoming a psychologist I was a lawyer, who also earned an MBA degree. I am therefore very experienced in helping people with relationships, not only in their private life, but in their business careers.
