I specialize in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). ISTDP is a psychodynamic treatment that brings rapid reduction/elimination of broad emotional symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, somatization (physical symptoms) and personality disorders. By experiencing previously avoided feelings client are gain freedom from self-defeating patterns and symptoms.
Dr. Hann also specializes in the psychological assessment of children, adults, and families. Dr. Hann believes that assessment is most useful when the results of his assessments are used to plan helpful interventions. In his practice, he strives to design treatment plans that are both meaningful and useful.

Dr. S. Gerald Hann Psychological Services's Groups

Anxiety Resiliency

We offer anxiety resiliency groups for children 4 to 16 years. Our program addresses the cognitive, physiological and behavioral processes that are known to interact in development, maintenance and experience of anxiety. The program is proven to help children reduce anxiety and improve emotional regulation. Groups are offered: October to December and January to March. We also offer 8-week social skills groups for children in grades 2-3 and grades 4-6. The groups fosters emotional resiliency, academic success, and promote the healthy expression of emotions. Individual sessions are also available to children and adolescents any time of year.
