I am a psychotherapist, supervisor, and consultant with 40+ years experience assisting individuals, couples, and groups with personal and professional changes, challenges, conflicts and crises. My therapeutic expertise includes: relationship growth, repair and transition; trauma resolution; sexual and domestic violence against women; and women's empowerment. I believe the art and skill of mindfulness is perhaps the most important tool clients can learn and practice to address their personal and professional issues and concerns.
As a LPC Supervisor, I supervise masters level interns working toward licensure. As a Senior Independent Consultant for Birkman International, I use Birkman Method Profiles to facilitate personal and professional growth. As a consultant and trainer, I work with professionals individuals and groups to facilitate team building and conflict resolution.
I created "Mother Path / Other Path: A Workshop for Women Without Children" after struggling with the ambiguity of becoming a mother or remaining childfree. This workshop allows similar women voice and explore their "other path." Contact the Houston Jung Center about this workshop offered each Mother's Day weekend (www.junghouston.org).
