Seeking support is the first, most difficult step toward healing and change. I work with individuals struggling with uncertainty and ambivalence, grief and loss, related to relationships and family dynamics, employment/career, life direction, and spirituality. I enjoy motivated clients seeking clarity of direction and tools for improving the quality of their lives. I also provide support to family systems, be they couples, parents, siblings, or all of the above, who are dealing with challenges and distress, such as divorce, co-dependency, job loss, disabilities, empty nest, and retirement. In a safe, trusting environment, clients find their truth and strength.
In addition to my orientation as a family systems therapist, I have advanced training in Expressive Arts Therapy, psychology and spirituality, treatment of Autism and other Pervasive Developmental Disorders in children and adults, extensive 12 step experience, and experience treating children with serious emotional disturbance in the home environment.
I welcome your phone calls and emails to answer questions to determine if I am the right counselor for your needs and if not, make referrals to colleagues in the area.
