I have worked with children, preteens, and families in Massachusetts and Northern California in the United States, serving populations facing developmental issues, emotional disturbance, and relational conflicts in the past two decades. My bilingual (Chinese & English) psychotherapeutic approach integrates theories and therapies, e.g., attachment-based, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal neurobiology, etc., and Christianity to enhance spiritual and emotional health.
My interest in in-service training relates to attachment and trauma issues, family therapy, emotional focus, and interpersonal neuroscience. I also graduated with a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling, concentrating on Pastoral Care & Counseling.
I am a bilingual (English/Cantonese & Mandarin) and bi-cultural psychotherapist providing psychotherapy and consultation and conducting workshops on spiritual-emotional health, mental health, personal growth, child development, and parenting skills in schools, churches, and the community of the United States and China.
