Through the therapeutic experience of being understood by another in a safe and genuine relationship, individuals develop an increased kindness for themselves and others, and are able to experience a more authentic view of themself. This self-awareness often leads us to new ways of relating to others, increased awareness and tolerance for difficult emotions, and the transformation of destructive patterns in our lives.
I believe everyone is worthy of love and belonging, I believe we all want to feel safe, and I believe we are all able to find happiness. To feel these emotions, it's important to have an authentic and healthy relationship with the self, to love and be loved by others, and to achieve meaning and purpose through our actions in life.
