Catharine Phillips, MA, MDiv, CADC, Drug & Alcohol Counselor in Glen Ellyn
As Episcopal priest and strengths-based counselor, I delight in helping people find connection, balance and integrity in their lives. I am a bridge-builder with well-developed expertise in leading individuals, couples and groups through transition and conflict into health and new life. I welcome the opportunity to work with other professionals in the human services field for whom it may be difficult to find a safe counseling space for their own issues.
I enjoy working with couples who are preparing for marriage, and offer a series of three to six sessions, including discussion around previous marriages and blended families. I also offer yearly wellness-checkups for both couples and individuals. I have a special interest and experience in working with people facing end-of-life issues.
In addition to my clinical psychology and addictions counseling training, I bring almost thirty years of experience as an ordained Episcopal priest in a variety of settings to my work as a counselor.
