I've worked in a variety of settings including Harvard University Mental Health Services, with student athletes in the Univ. of Michigan Athletic Dept., and with veterans at the Ann Arbor VA hospital. Additional areas of expertise/interest include: couples and relationship(s) therapy (for both monogamous and open relationships) and parenting concerns.
My therapeutic style is warm and interactive, and I often use humor to put clients at ease. I utilize a variety of interventions including CBT, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and family systems and psychodynamic theory. I feel privileged to work with every client and understand the decision to enter therapy takes courage.
