Hi, congratulations on taking these next steps in your healing journey! I enjoy helping clients develop stronger family and/or marital relationships, to heal from past trauma or other psychological issues, to determine the best parenting approach for the unique needs of their child, and to offer support for those in active recovery from addiction. I work primarily with adults and adolescents with a strength-based approach. I am also an Approved Supervisor with the AAMFT and offer clinical supervision to therapists in training. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), a licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS), and a licensed school counselor with National Board Certification. I use my Level II training in EMDR along with cognitive-behavioral approaches to address trauma, and Family Systems and Attachment theory to address issues in relationships.
I believe that with the proper support, people and relationships can grow and change. I welcome the unique experiences and perspectives my client's have when addressing the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of trauma.
