As a strengths-based therapist, I help individuals and families find and use their strengths to work through the many challenges, transitions, and stresses life brings. I have extensive experience in helping people with complicated grief and loss. My training includes a specialization in relational therapy: satisfying relationships are essential to our wellbeing. This includes working with couples, families, parents, adult siblings, and blended families experiencing conflict. I also help adults work through the lingering influence of childhood trauma.
Additionally, I received training in evidence-based treatment for traumatic stress. I support clients who feel stress, burnout, or compassion fatigue related to work in helping professions (medical workers, social workers, therapists, and others). Family caregivers also benefit from this support as they are vulnerable to the stresses of caregiver burden.
