Mr. Steven Suchow

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LCSW

(914) 582-2688
Although my specialty is as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, my skills and experience have resulted in great success in working with adults. I use an eclectic and flexible approach in my work, with expertise developed over the last 10 years. I feel that no two individuals are alike, so that my treatment approach is uniquely tailored to meet your needs. Anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, or any other issue you or your family member choose to address will be handled professionally, in a sensitive and non-judgmental manner. I consider it a privilege to listen and learn about you.
In working with children, I have developed my own innovative and unique style of play therapy, best suited for clients lacking well developed verbal skills, where the use of imagination and fantasy take on key roles. The child's difficulties are often enacted and worked through during play therapy.
My experience has shown that the key to a successful treatment outcome is the relationship that develops between you, the client, and myself. I provide a warm, accepting atmosphere in which you will never feel judged. We will work together towards your desired goals. I look forward to your call.
