My name is Jacqueline Woods and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and the founder of Pacific Trauma Treatment Center. I have 20 years of experience in providing mental health services to the community and I treat adults, adolescents, children, and military veterans in my practice. I specialize in the treatment of PTSD and other anxiety disorders, such as specific and general phobias, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I also treat various depressive and mood disorders, bereavement, relationship problems, adjustment and phase of life concerns, anger management, and chronic pain.
Symptoms of trauma & PTSD can lead to impairment in all aspects of life. I'm one of the only therapists in Los Angeles County who specializes in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD. This therapy is endorsed by the Department of Defense and is the most empirically supported treatment for PTSD.
I have 20 years of experience in Meditation, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release Technique & Pranic Healing. These techniques are integrated into treatment when appropriate and, in combination with therapy, are very effective in reducing hyper-arousal of the nervous system & helping the body heal from trauma.
