By employing harm-reduction, client-centered psychotherapy, we will explore whether moderate, less harmful use or abstinence are appropriate with regard to your behaviors and substance misuse.

We will develop therapeutic goals to resolve behavioral-change, ambivalence, and begin to understand the emotional underpinnings of your substance abuse and self-destructive behaviors. Additionally, I provide screening, assessment and case management for impaired drivers, and others mandated for treatment by courts, probation, employers or similar sources.

Recovery treatment aftercare gives people in early recovery from addiction a vehicle for transitioning from the safe treatment environment to the "outside" where life's challenges are now to be surmounted without the use of substances. Aftercare is a forum in which clients explore successes and challenges as they arise, in a safe and supportive place. Group members work on developing strategies that help them to sustain the gains made in treatment, manage emotions, build trust and explore the underlying issues that drove their self-destructive behaviors.
