Working together in a safe and nurturing environment, we will navigate struggles, develop healthy coping skills, and gain a deeper understanding of feelings, thoughts, and behaviors so you can heal, grow, and thrive. For over twenty years I have worked with people of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, races, and cultures on issues with relationships, loss, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders.
I utilize a relationship-based psychodynamic approach informed by mindfulness, family systems theory and cognitive-behavioral principles. The nature and extent of my clinical training and experience in the mental health field allows me to offer a variety of therapeutic methods to address the issues you bring to therapy.
I am EMDR trained (a therapeutic technique often used in processing painful memories, trauma, and negatives beliefs about the self), a registered art therapist (facilitating expression and insights through the creative process- art, movement, writing- which allows people to communicate what is sometimes difficult to verbalize).
