Chris Kingsbury, MA, LPC, LMFT, NCC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Austin
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving couples, single adults, men and adolescent males. I am especially experienced in relationship counseling with emphasis on helping clients heal unresolved childhood issues affecting their present living; couples desiring to build deeper relationships, those in career and life transitions, and those dealing with anger, anxiety, fear, stress, depression, self-esteem, loss and grief. I am a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist and have a special interest in this area. I am also certified in Prepare-Enrich for premarital counseling and enjoy helping couples build solid marriage foundations.
I earned a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Texas State University. I previously earned a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering and have an MBA and more than 25 years prior experience in the business arena. I have much life experience!
I am married for 38 years, have 3 adult children and one grandchild. Yea! Together my wife, family and I have been through many significant life challenges. I understand.... General office hours are M-F, 8:30 - 5:30. Some evening and Saturday appointments by availability - feel free to discuss.
