I see therapy as a collaborative process in which we work to identify these patterns and to develop new ways of interacting with the world.
In our busy stressful city, it can be difficult to find time and space to really look inwards. My hope is that therapy can be a safe place in which to explore with curiosity, warmth, humor and compassion rather than with negative judgments.
Together we will develop a deeper understanding of your strengths and history allowing for greater self awareness and a greater capacity to trust yourself. My approach is practical, flexible, and individualized. At times, I will be interactive, providing feedback and encouragement, and at times, I will step back allowing your feelings space to emerge.
