I am a therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults providing individual, family, and couples therapy. I specialize in the areas of grief, trauma, life transitions, mood disorders, anxiety, women's issues, childhood issues, and parenting. I am licensed in Montana as an LCPC, licensed in Oregon as an LPC, nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDRIA-trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and credentialed as a National Certified Counselor and a Distance Credentialed Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Additionally, I am a Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic with a preference towards EMDR and a cognitive behavioral approach well as utilization of sand play, art therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and DBT constructs. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, EMDRIA, and Postpartum Support International.
