I enjoy working with clients of all age groups and demographics. I am enthralled with the human condition and I like to help clients understand the motivations of their chosen behaviors. I love working with adolescents and witness many young adults develop and grow into who they are meant to be. I believe strongly in people recognizing and working toward their full potential. I rejoice when I am able to work for a client who accepts ownership of their actions and wants to work to improve their lives emotionally and physically.
My first love is working with adolescents. They keep you on your toes and can spot a therapist who is not genuine in a heart beat. Many are carrying big loads with challenges they can do nothing about. The EMDR therapy fits yith those who have been victimized or traumatized
The Sand Tray Therapy can help children of any age break through blocks in their thinking and perception. It is also useful with adults who may be "stuck" in long term relationship issues. I also work with pet-assisted therapy. The presence of a pup in the room adds comfort.
