Welcome to your journey of self-discovery! My goal is to work with you in partnership to create a holistic treatment plan that integrates traditional psychotherapy approaches with a mind-body-spirit orientation proven by modern science to have distinct therapeutic advantages in health and healing. Using a strength-based, interactive, empathic and integrative approach to counseling, coaching and guiding a client, I am able to effectively assist you in empowering yourself to change limiting and unproductive thoughts and beliefs, to creatively explore challenges in relationships, and to begin living with harmony and balance in accordance with your highest ideals.
Essential to my practice is a holistic perspective that integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions of one's being. I teach awareness and mindfulness techniques as powerful tools for relieving anxiety and depression, reducing stress, enhancing attention and improving memory, increasing immune system responses and managing physical pain.
I have used mindfulness training and other spiritual disciplines effectively to prepare patients for surgical procedures and to support clients recovering from cancer treatments and other chronic diseases. As a healer, I assist clients in connecting to their own inner healer, the greatest energy force in regaining and maintaining optimum health.
