I strive to help people live happier, healthier, lives, by assisting them in overcoming obstacles that can impact their well-being. Change is often a reason that people enter counseling: change in self, family, work, relationships, or health. Counseling can help by addressing situations that cause distress, and offering ways to help manage these situations. Counseling begins with identifying and understanding needs, and working together to achieve identified needs and desires for counseling.
I work with adults, and teenagers 13 and older. Areas I specialize in include depression, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, ADHD, substance abuse, identity and self-concept, and communication skills. I use well established, researched, Integrative therapeutic modalities, which allows for maximal results, based on the specific needs of each client.
