I believe a good match between therapist and client is a large part of what makes therapy work. I have a caring, gentle approach and I focus on building strengths and addressing past traumas. EMDR is one of the modalities I find effective in helping clients to deepen their insight and healing. I tend to tailor treatment to address what the client is struggling most with, whether that is symptoms, interpersonal issues, or past traumatic events. I also specialize in helping clients address food addiction issues in a way that is effective and non-blaming.
In order to serve a wide range of clients, I accept the following insurances: Aetna, Highmark Blueshield (and several other Bluecross/Blueshield insurances), and Medicare.
