Carrie Holloran, MA, LPC, NCC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Portland
I see individuals who are experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety, body image issues, relational distress, spiritual issues, grief/loss, and eating disorders. Many of my clients are trying to cope with the effects of trauma in their life in addition to feelings of insecurity, perfectionism, self-hatred or shame. If any of this sounds like you, I want you to know that you are not alone and counseling can help. It takes great courage to seek counseling, and I can help you develop insight into yourself, learn new tools for coping, find your voice, and seek healing from your past.
My counseling approach is holistic and informed by the relationship between mind, body and soul. I strive to provide a compassionate and hope-filled experience for each of my clients. I draw from EMDR, attachment, and psychodynamic therapy, while also utilizing other tools tailored to each individual I work with.
I am committed to helping you restore and live fully into who you are created to be and I would be honored to walk with you during this part of your story. I love living in the incredible city of Portland and have been married for ten years.
