Len Ramsay, BA, MBA, SP, RP, Counsellor in Toronto
Your life can be better. Your relationships can improve and you can grow to understand yourself and become more effective in whatever aspect of your life you choose. You can get past limitations that hold you back or keep you stuck in patterns that are not working for you. You can identify realistic goals and organize yourself to reach them. .... This applies even more strongly at times of pain, resentment, anger, hostility, sadness, depression, grief, regret, anxiety, fear, despair, doubt, apathy, immobilization, emptiness: emotions that you might have trouble regulating at any particular here and now.
My work is informed by Gestalt therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology, and includes these practice modalities: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Relational Self Psychology, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Family Systems and Family Dynamics, Psychodrama and Dreamwork, Body Work and Body Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Practice. In my life, I've been an Athlete, Entrepreneur, Senior Executive, Educator, Coach, Counsellor and Therapist.
You might be hurting yourself through addiction, self-hatred or shame. .... And you might be looking to become more yourself and more of what you could possibly be. We can work on both: Survival, and Thriving in life. Your life can be better. - Fee details on my website. www.mindfullife.ca

Men's Group

Next group planed to start April 2017 . Please call . Men's encounter group for personal growth and adjunct to individual psychotherapy. An overarching goal of group therapy is to provide a safe forum for the exploration of inner feelings while generating a greater capacity for self-understanding and for empathy toward self and others. Responsibility is the keystone of the group therapeutic process. Group members learn how their behaviour is viewed by others, how they make others feel, how their actions impact others and so reflect on their views of themselves. Couples' Intensive Therapy

Intensive Program. For a couple in crisis, when there is high conflict over sex or money, infidelity or abuse - physical, emotional, or sexual.... Positions can become entrenched and it seems the worst of each of you faces the worst of the other.... Sometimes the couple is just barely holding together by the time you get here, and intensive therapy is indicated. Intensive couples therapy requires commitment and hard work and makes sense when the stakes are high. A program of 2 1/2 hour sessions. Specific design and scheduling requires initial 90 minute intake meeting.
