Dr. Grimes enjoys providing individual, couple, marital, family, and child therapy. He is also trained to treat sexual abuse and clients dealing with both addiction and mental illness. Interests include but are not limited to attachment theory and spiritual formation throughout life. Dr. Grimes has been in practice for 11 years providing psychological services to a wide variety of issues and populations. He is trained in EMDR a treatment modality that is very effective in relieving trauma.
He has also completed numerous courses in his education designed specifically for treating children, adolescents, families, and individuals, he now trains others as an adjunct professor at Hope International University. Dr. Grimes is committed to ministry. He has been a member of his church for over 26 years.
He has participated in and led numerous activities that include being an elder, small group leader, servant team leader, and children's ministry volunteer. Locally, Dr. Grimes has served on the Souleader ministry team for over six years, a non-profit ministry that focuses on the holistic formation of leaders.
