Counseling seems like a strange thing. You are supposed to tell a stranger all the intimate details about yourself and focus on the worst parts of your life - and pay for it! I focus on working with adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, or trauma. I use EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to help people get past troubling memories.
Prior to working as counselor I was a Pastor and have my MDiv (Masters of Divinity) from Phoenix Seminary. I enjoy working with anyone and do not push spirituality, but if you are looking for christian counseling I have specific experience and education in blending counseling with faith.
