Grief can result from many types of loss and life transitions: death of a loved one, loss of a relationship, miscarriage, abortion, job loss, aging, loss of our sexual selves. Walking beside those who are in the process of grief, I help them find compassion and wholeness in their life. I see clients dealing with grief as a normal and necessary process as well as those with complicated grief, anticipatory grief and trauma. Understanding the nature of grief, it is possible to get through this time of confusion, sadness, anger & loneliness to a place of hope and inner peace.
Through the use of gentle loving kindness, psycho-education, expressive arts, somatic therapy, relaxation and meditation, I support my clients as they journey through the unfamiliar territory of grief toward rebuilding their life. Although we all grieve differently, it is comforting to find compassionate and knowledgeable support through our journey to wholeness.
My personal losses prompted a deep re-evaluation of my understanding of life and death and a passion for working with the the amazing transformation which grief brings. Life experiences of continual changes in our mental, spiritual, relational and sexual selves bring opportunity for growth at every stage of life.

Everyone grieves differently, and there is no one 'right' answer for how to cope. But you don't need to be alone in this process, no matter how long you've been grieving. I offer a safe and compassionate place to explore the complex emotions of loss and will provide tools and strategies as we build a community of hope and connection. The group will have six sessions with a 2-week break before continuing with the next six weeks. Feel free to call for further information and a free consultation.

Changing the Paradigm of aging. I offer a safe, creative, inspirational and fun environment in which vibrant 55+yrs young women can explore what this new stage of life is all about. We do not have to journey down this unknown road alone. Through a variety of experiences, (Expressive Art, Journaling, Mindfulness and most importantly Connection with Like Minded Women) we will explore who we are, our purpose in life and how we can "feast on our life" at any age.
