Carly Bassett, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Austin
We all experience loss and grief in our lives. Sometimes life transitions, even celebrated ones such as a marriage or birth of a child, can create feelings of loss, new roles and questioning. I help both individuals and couples through all life transitions, grief & loss, and trauma. The grief journey can result in transformation and a restoration of peace. I work with people who have experienced any kind of loss, whether it be the death of a loved one, ending of a relationship, loss of a pet, or effects of an "empty nest."
I specialize in grief, loss and trauma and can provide Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also enjoy working with individuals to explore areas of shame and vulnerability in their lives, with the hope of helping clients enhance personal relationships, improve self-acceptance, empathy and live more authentically.
