At Sharon DeGuevara Counseling I work with adolescents, and adults providing individual, and family therapy. I am a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and use this treatment method to help clients understand how their thoughts have a direct influence on their feelings and behaviors. In addition, I incorporate DBT and mindfulness techniques and strategies to help clients learn how to live in and have a happier life.
I assist in helping people find ways to cope with life transitions, challenges, and provide a safe, open environment to encourage positive change and to achieve goals. I believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to improve their situation and live their lives to the fullest capacity.
