Vanessa S Crisp, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Asheville
Counseling is a courageous step toward healing and emotional growth, and I am honored to walk alongside those willing to start this therapeutic process. All human beings must sort through various levels of emotional trauma, anxiety, grief, and what I like to call the "let downs of life." I am committed to providing professional and relationally based counseling that allows clients to grow, heal, and function from a place of restoration.
I work really well with adolescents, young adults, and adult women who are sorting through a number of emotional, behavioral, and relationship concerns. I am skilled and experienced to help people work through and recover from anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, life transitions, trauma, depression, problematic family dynamics, and parenting.
I offer a Christ-centered and faith-based approach towards helping people strengthen their relationship with others and God. I integrate Internal Family Systems Therapy and cognitive behavioral frameworks with Christian spirituality to help people experience lasting change. I am also qualified to counsel others from different spiritual backgrounds.
