David Uitdeflesch, MA, LLP, CAADC, Limited Licensed Psychologist in Grand Rapids
If life events have become too much to take on alone and you don't know where to turn, there is hope and a way through the darkness. Whatever difficult situation or problem you face, I invite you to come and begin the conversations that may help to sort out your thoughts and feelings and bring the restoration of the life you desire. I will provide a place of safety to focus on you and your needs. Doing this work will not always be easy but it will be worth it. Let's take this journey together.
I have worked with MH/SUD patients from a variety of situations and believe in treating all people from the perspective of emotional, mental, social, physical ,and spiritual aspects of themselves. I also provide services through the Michigan Gambling hotline and work with men and couples with sex addiction challenges.
My goal and desire is that you will be and feel respected when you come to my practice and that you will get good value for the time and resources you invest in yourself. I look forward to the chance to help you address life problems from a therapeutic perspective.

David Uitdeflesch's Groups

Men's sex addiction/affair recovery group

Therapy group for men struggling with pornography, sexual acting out, affairs, or other sexual behavior problems. Attendance generally runs from 10 to 15 men. Format is a balance between support, accountability, therapy, and teaching time using various materials. This is a group that comes from a Christian based spiritual perspective although persons from all faiths and beliefs are welcome. We are not a twelve step group but do reference the twelve steps at times and we recognize the value that 12 step meetings have in the process of recovery. To join, call, email, or come on by (use EAST door).
