Helping children, adolescents, and their families is important to me. Having spent 17 years working with children in educational settings, I understand the struggles families face when dealing with behavioral and social issues, poor academic performance, learning disabilities, and mental health issues. Families may be faced with unexpected challenges such as loss of a loved one, loss of a job, or divorce. Not being able to help your child or teen with problems they face, or not being able to bring your family together as a loving unit can be frustrating and disheartening as a parent.
I provide families a supportive, and caring environment where every member is valued. I will work with your family on developing effective communication patterns and design strategies to strengthen the family unit. My use of art therapy is particularly effective when working with children in fostering communication and emotional outlets.
I also work with adult individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties that can hinder you from having a happier and more fulfilled life.
