Congratulations on reaching out for help! I've been there and know it's not easy. In fact it's scary as hell! The fact is everyone on this planet struggles. It's the human condition and we all need help from time to time. I guarantee you that if I'm having problems with my plumbing, I call a plumber. I've been a therapist now for 30 years and can safely say I've pretty much seen it all. Most of us think our problems are really different than everyone else's, but I assure you we're all much more alike than we are different. The truth is everyone just wants to be happy, feel at peace, and have successful loving relationships.
I believe that core of who we all are is love, and when we are free to extend love and be in alignment with who we are, we feel "good". But if we start to have too many barriers to the flow of love we start to feel "bad" and can even become depressed or anxious. Rather than providing temporary patches or tricks to feel better, I work with my clients in
helping them go to the source of their problems and provide some transformational spiritual (not religious) tools they can use to get back to peace and happiness.
