I work with a diverse array of clients welcoming clients from all backgrounds. I use an integrative, strengths-based approach primarily informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment theory, Acceptance Commitment Therapy -- a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and a focus on values-driven action, neuroscience and somatic skills, and motivational interviewing.
I also bring over twenty years of experience as an attorney. This enables me to help clients quickly organize overwhelming material so clients can problem solve with less suffering. It also strengthens my ability to understand unique challenges faced by attorneys and other professionals.
