I value and enjoy working with clients of all ages. Primary areas of focus are: coping with life transitions, helping clients to have more satisfying relationships, working with parents to support attachment goals for healthy development of their child, and sitting with the grief that our inevitable losses bring. I specialize in working with clients with eating disorders, trauma and PTSD, and anxiety disorders. My approach is integrative, drawing from effective treatments (DBT, CBT, attachment-based) to meet your particular needs. I provide short-term and long-term services to individuals and families.
Often, having space to speak difficult words aloud in the presence of another is healing. Other times, it is helpful to have someone join in nonjudgmental problem-solving. Effective therapy addresses our hearts, minds, and bodies. We explore what is going on in your life now, as well as the influences from your past, and, your relationship with the future.
I have 20+ years combined experience working in private practice, inpatient child and adolescent eating disorders treatment, inpatient adult psychiatric treatment, community mental health, and child forensic interviewing. I regularly provide licensure supervision and clinical consultation.
