Jackie Parke, PsyD, Psychologist in Fullerton
Since it's hard to find and see a therapist, I take time to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with you that becomes a safe refuge over time. Connecting with kids, teens, and college-aged young adults comes especially naturally to me. My role as a therapist is to participate in healing wounds, restoring hope, and catalyzing growth. This process unfolds collaboratively as we walk through the valleys and mountains of your life together. Although we focus in therapy on current symptoms or problems, my therapeutic style also sparks clients' growth and transformation at a deeper level.
I specialize in working with children, teens, and college-aged young adults. Common presenting problems include: anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety); obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, trauma, traumatic grief. My style emphasizes the therapeutic relationship combined with a focused, evidence-based approach to progressing toward treatment goals.
I love seeing young people overcome anxiety/fear, depression, and trauma--set free to step into their full potential and a life infused with meaning, courage, joy, and hope. More information about my practice is available at jackieparke.com. Call or e-mail today to schedule a first appointment.
