Helping individuals, couples, and families recover is the work I do. For the past two years, I provided counseling services to Marines, Sailors, and their families at Parris Island and the Marine Corps Air Station. Now, I am back in private practice with a clinical concentration in active duty and veteran military members, relational conflict, emotional disturbances, maladaptive coping, binge eating disorder, and generational trauma. As a therapist, my approach centers on thoughts (language of the mind) and emotions (language of the body) that determine our behaviors and impact the choices we make.
I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
