Being a kid is today’s world can be tough and helping your little one navigate through the struggles and hardships as a parent, can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in. As a licensed professional therapist with over 10 years of private practice experience, I specialize in child and adolescent behaviors, parenting skills, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I have a passion for helping children and parents realize their full potential by educating and working with them on issues that may be holding them back.
In addition to my private practice work, I also have over 10 years of experience conducting parent educational and therapeutic groups to help provide high needs families with child development education and information through Providence St. John’s Helen Reid Parenting program.
Creating a safe and supportive environment, for clients of all ages, is essential to my practice. Through play therapy children will have an opportunity to work through their struggles and learn coping skills. By creating a trusting relationship with adult clients, we will work together to strengthen coping skills and increase overall emotional health.
